The professional split between outbound corridor work and return-leg discipline is starting to appear in the smallest visible places.
Several operators are now issuing separate badge marks and credential classes for return-leg crews. The symbolism matters because it tells the workforce, customers, and auditors the same thing: return work is no longer being treated as a derivative skill borrowed from more glamorous parts of the transport stack.
That may look cosmetic from the outside. Inside the industry, it is a marker that a separate operational identity has finally become hard to deny.
