One Sensor Fleet Paused Resale After a Classification Mismatch

A resale batch was halted when an internal classification disagreement put the custody class of derivative output in doubt.

One sensor fleet has paused resale on a processed output batch after internal reviewers found a classification mismatch between the capture lane and the derivative packaging lane.

The issue appears narrow, but the consequences are not. Classification mismatches destabilize the terms under which buyers think they are purchasing output. If the derivative product belongs to a different custody or disclosure class than the original capture assumed, the operator can no longer promise the same rights with confidence.

Resale pauses of this kind are expensive because they damage trust in the operator’s commercial hygiene, not just in one technical process.
